Today was a big day for my baby. Having done her Laser treatment at IQ Laser Vision. Dr Lin did a great job. Quick and painless. The staff was greats as well, from the receptionist to the technicians. They explained everything prior to the procedure and made sure that everything was set. The facility was very clean and spacious. They even have a massage chair to help you relax while your waiting. Any kind of procedure is always nerve wracking weather it's invasive or noninvasive, but the staff at IQ Laser made sure all your questions are answered, so that you'd feel more at ease before you lay down on the operating table.If you're looking to get your eyesight fix and having second thoughts about laser surgery. You should go see Dr Lin at IQ laser. It's a free consultation. What do you have to loose? Nothing, you might actually gain 20/20 in the process.

Definitely the place to go to if youre ready to get rid of glasses and contacts for good! I went in for a free consultation back in November 2018 because my vision was bad and I was tired of wearing ortho-k lenses, so I was ready to make a change in my lifestyle! During my first visit, the staff was so friendly and helpful! Thats when I knew I was set on letting IQ Laser Vision fix my vision. At first, I thought I was going to get the common LASIK eye surgery, however, they told me about a more advanced surgery called SMILE. With SMILE, your eyes will be less drying, which is something I liked to hear, so I was sold with getting SMILE. I had to wait till my vision was stable before I could get eye laser, which wasnt till February 2019. I went in basically every 2 weeks or so to get my eyes checked till my surgery. Surgery day came and I was nervous and excited, but Dr. Lin made the procedure very relaxing, and talked to me through it all to calm my nerves. QUICK AND PAINLESS! WOKE UP THE NEXT DAY AND EVERYTHING WAS CLEAR! Not 20/20 yet, but thats cause the recovery process takes longer with SMILE. However, I know in the next week or so, Ill be there! IQ Laser Vision was comprehensive during my consultation with Dr. Nguyen and was able to address all my concerns. One big thing to take away from my experience is to do your research (go to other laser places too) and come up with all the questions you can think of. I had questions that I wouldnt have thought of unless I went to the two laser places beforehand. I'd say this is mostly a job for the patient but it is difficult to ask questions that you wouldnt normally think of.- For me, it was finding the right procedure for a person possibly getting hit in the face via contact sport.The surgery day went smooth. Depending on how busy they were, I couldve spent 3 hours there due to tests prior to the procedure (ensuring everything was good to go), but total time there was 2 hrs. Dr. Erica Liu was my surgeon, was very professional, and made sure I had all concerns addressed. The procedure itself took about 15 minutes total and I was out of the building not more than 5 minutes out of the surgery room. Dr. Liu checked up on my very frequently during the procedure to make sure I was comfortable and not in any pain at all.

Did 2 month research, both doing lasik outside of the US and in the US. IQ is pretty much THE top skilled eye surgery place in OC. is been over a year relative low maintenance. like all thing in life, you still need to start thinking about actually take good care of your eyes so you never had to do surgery again.

I decided to get lasik because I thought it was time I do something for myself for once and Steve was so helpful in providing me with all the information necessary, which option would be a good option for me and answering all the questions I had.I ended up at IQ Lasik because of their SMILE option, and it was just my luck that SMILE for astigmatism was approved in November of 2018. From there it was waiting for my FSA to kick in for 2019 and then making my appointment.Day of the surgery, I was very relaxed and they give you Valium to help. The surgeon checks on your eyes again to make sure to get the correct measurements and proceeds to talk you through the process. I could literally see 70-80% the next day and will see better as my eye heals.For the first time in my life I was able to see the stars and the moon so clearly (i love the night sky). It dawned on me that glasses would never have let me see what SMILE wouldve. No longer will I need to be envious of non-glasses and non-contacts wearers.I highly recommend SMILE!!Thank you IQ Lasik,Janet~~
