It was a really cool experience, and you can kind of see what surgeon is doing to your eyes. I did smile procedure a few weeks ago, and it's really a life changing. Now I don't have to wear glasses anymore.

I'll be reviewing my experience with IQ Laser Vision as a whole.Virtual Consultation:Because of protocol (and COVID), I had to get a virtual consultation with a staff member in order to get a clear understanding of the procedures involved. Amber walked me through this segment, and she did a wonderful job on outlining the works and costs of each procedure. In fact, vision insurance is not even needed in order to get great price at IQ Laser Vision. So no worries if you have no vision coverage.Pre-Operation Visit:Steven was the one who used the equipment to check the status and physical dimensions of my eyes. He made the experience very easy to follow. But most importantly, he was honest about the size of my corneal epithelium. The corneal epithelium plays a major role in determining which procedure is optimal. Steven didn't try to upsell me by lying about my corneal epithelium. In fact, he told me that my corneal epithelium was suitable for any procedure that they had at their facility.After Steven, Dr. Tran took care of me when it came to my vision examination. Dr. Tran is very patient and clear-cut when it came to finding out my vision. My prescription was 3-years old, yet Dr. Tran made the process seem like a breeze. She is also very personable too if you decide to have a conversation with her.Operation Visit:This is the life-changing yet nerve wracking day. However, since Dr. Phan took care of me, I didn't feel like I had anything to worry about. Right before my operation, Dr. Phan checked my vision one more time to ensure that all the data is correct. The time and effort that he spent to double-check my vision tells me that he's not messing around. He was also kind enough to allow my brother (aka my driver) to observe the operation. The operation itself can be scary, but Dr. Phan explained every single action that he was going to execute. Because of his walkthrough, I understand exactly what's going to happen during each step, which can help ease the tension. The whole operation lasted around 20 minutes, and I hardly felt any pain.Recovery (5 days):Because I opted for the SMILE procedure, the recovery of my eyes was absurdly fast. I was ready to see the very next day, and there was no pain in my eyes. You'd still want to keep your eye goggles on for the first 3 days while you sleep in case you rub your eyes by accident.Post-Operation Visit:Dr. Tran examined my eyes again, and as expected, my vision had never been better. My vision is currently at 20/15, and I couldn't be happier about it. Thanks to SMILE, my eyes have fully physically recovered, and I can do all of the physical activities that I do prior to the surgery. In terms of vision, it is only 90% recovered, and it'll only get better within the next month or so.Conclusion:I am fully satisfied with my experience at IQ Laser Vision. The staff goes above and beyond to provide an excellent, life-changing experience. Thank you, IQ Laser Vision, for making this possible for me!P.S. I would like to thank the rest of the staff (receptionist, clerks, etc) for keeping the place well-organized and sparkly clean. This is majorly important especially during times of COVID.

was recommended to get LASIK by my sister (who got it done at this location a couple years back) and was surprised by how nice, organized, and clean the facility was! they also offer a massage chair and free drinks (which i know my mom enjoyed LOL). for the consultation, they do several vision exams to check your prescription and to see if youre qualified, and I automatically qualified due to my high prescription (my last known was -7.50 from 2 years ago, so i think it might have been -8.0 or so, not sure) and how stable my eyes have been! in terms of price negotiation, they offer referral and ambassador credit, so see if you are eligible to receive those financial discounts!! (def helped 🙂 thank you kelly!!) and so my total came out to around $4k!the next visit was the surgery day, and the technicians did more vision tests to confirm your eligibility and to finalize payment!! after that, I met with Dr. Lin, who advised that i do the SMILE procedure based on my thin corneas (sad!) and said he would have interfered earlier and consulted me about it, had he been more aware of my case. luckily, there was a patient who was doing the SMILE procedure, so he was super caring in letting me take my time and decide, and even watch the procedure! (he acknowledged us through the window which was comforting knowing that we were there watching LO L) and i was nervous about making that decision because I've only heard of my friends doing LASIK. he was very thorough in explaining everything, so i went with it and here i am 2 days post-surgery :)I don't remember the name of the optometrist who did my 1-day post checkup, but he was super efficient and kind with answering any questions (even the repetitive ones that my mom had)the clinic messages you and he even gave his contact in case i had questions regarding my healing process!overall, staff is super nice (its kind of scary how accommodating and understanding they are LOL) they also offer $1000 off for referral so you can use me if you need someone! 🙂 and i highly highly recommend you all to at least look into this location if you're considering laser eye surgery!thank you Dr. Lin and staff and I am happy to have done this procedure at this location!
